I’m a spatial thinker who enjoys solving complex challenges with GIS and Earth Observation. Over the past decade I’ve worked across utilities, landscape engineering, land surveying, GIS training and consulting, and—more recently—Earth Observation. My interests span practical geospatial methods and the next wave of satellite capabilities, including hyperspectral, SAR, thermal, and emissions detection.

This blog is an independent space to share clear, unbiased notes on EO news, emerging technologies, and hands-on techniques. Expect concise explainers, method walkthroughs, and occasional “how I did it” posts that turn complex workflows into something usable.

What you’ll find here

  • Short analyses of EO sensor and market developments

  • Practical guides and workflow tips for GIS/EO tasks

  • Reflections on applying EO to environmental and sustainability problems

  • A focus on reproducibility, uncertainty, and decision-readiness
